With this post, we start an exhaustive section on beaded jewelry – here is a tutorial on making basic beaded earrings with wire wrapping technique. A wire wrapped loop gives a nice touch to the earring and secures the beads well too.

- Round Nose Plier
How to make Wire Wrapped Beaded Earrings:
Start with a head pin and slide a gold bead (spacer).
String the glass bead on the head pin. Glass beads can be used for various beading projects and have a versatile utility.
Similarly string a couple more spacers and crystal beads. Spacers are useful in creating different patterns; crystal beads add a royal touch to the earring.
Bend the wire at a right angle with your finger.
With the round nose plier grip the wire and bend it (the wire) downwards.
Have a grasp of the loop and wrap the wire around the headpin stem using your hand.
We keep wrapping down to the crystal bead. Two wraps should be good for this. After wrapping, cut off any extra wire with a wire cutter.
Insert a fish hook wire.
Repeat steps 1 to 9 for the other earring.
