A DIY on making bead earrings using pink crystals and findings. The earring design is simple and elegant and the crystal beads makes this jewelry a perfect evening wear.
How to Make Crystal Drop Bead Earrings:
- Round Nose Pliers
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutter
Slide the crystal bead on the head pin. Crystal beads come in different shapes and sizes, for this project a round crystal bead has been used.
Insert the bead cap. Bead caps adorn crystals and can be used to accentuate the beads in jewelry making projects.
Bend the wire at a right angle using your fingers.
Using Round nose pliers, bend the wire to make a loop.
Cut off any excess wire using the wire cutter to complete the loop.
Insert a jump ring – flat nose pliers can be used to open and close jump rings. For this earring pattern, a slightly bigger jump ring would be suitable.
Slide the spacer beads in the jump ring – 2 beads on each side of the loop.
Insert the fish hook ear wire and lock the jump ring. Done.
