Flat Bead and Crystal Earrings – DIY

This tutorial shows how to make a pair of crystal earrings – this is a simple earring pattern and uses the basic earring making supplies. Beginners trying their hands on jewelry making can start with this type of a basic design.

How to make Beaded crystal earrings:

Supplies Needed:

Tools needed:

1. Round nose pliers
2. Flat nose pliers
3. Wire cutter

Step 1:

Slide the crystal bead in the head pin. Choose the head pin based on the size of your beads.

Step 2:

Slide the flat metal bead in the head pin. I’ve chosen metal beads in dull gold color with a flowery design.

Step 3:

Bend the wire at a right angle using your fingers and make a loop using round nose pliers. Trim off any excess wire using the wire cutter.

Step 4:

Insert the fish hook ear wire and lock it – flat nose pliers are used for this.

Repeat the steps above for the other earring.

The completed pair… These earrings are perfect for everyday wear and can be made in different colors to suit your outfit.
