Pirate Eye Patch using Construction Paper – How To
Pirate costumes are fun to make and can be easily done by kids. Here is how you can make a pirate eye patch using construction paper. This could be made for your kids’ Halloween party too.
Glimpse of the Eye Patch:
How To:
Step 1:
This method will just take a few minutes – Start by drawing an eye patch shape on a piece of construction paper.
Step 2:
Cut out the shape using scissors.
Step 3:
Paste a piece of black color paper on both sides of the cut out piece. You can alternatively color using poster colors or using a marker.
Step 4:
Make a cut from the lower part of the piece till the center point.
Step 5:
To get a cup like shape, we will bring the two sides of the cut together, overlap one over the other and glue.
Step 6:
Trim off the extras at the bottom.
Step 7:
Punch holes as shown.
Step 8:
Insert a piece of black elastic string (in both the holes) and make a tight knot to secure.

Here is the completed pirate eye patch. You can draw any design you would like on the patch – white paint would work well for this.
