Felt is a favorite of many crafters. It is fun to use felt and the results are always pretty and cool. Here, I’ve tried to provide clear tutorials for three types of Felt bows which are quick and easy to make.

Glimpse of the Felt Bows:

How To – Type 2:

Step 1:

Take two rectangular pieces of felt. One piece should be slightly bigger than the other.

Step 2:

Step 3:

Place the smaller piece on the glue and press firmly.

Step 5:

Secure at the center using a piece of metal string.

Step 6:

Apply fabric glue on a strip of felt cloth and wrap the strip at the center. This way you cover the string.

How To – Type 3:

This bow is my favorite among the three.

Step 1:

Take a fairly broad strip of felt. Apply fabric glue at one end of the strip.

Step 2:

Place the other end of the strip on this and press.

Step 3:

Cut out another piece of felt which is of the same width as the piece made in step 2 but is longer.

Step 4:

Apply glue on the strip we cut out in Step 3.

Step 5:

Place the piece made in Step 2 on this and press.

Step 6:

Hold at the center as shown.

Step 7:

Secure at the center using a piece of metal string.

Step 8:

Apply fabric glue on a strip of felt cloth and wrap the strip at the center.

Step 9:

Cut the sides of the strip in a v-shape and the bow is done.

Simple, weren’t they? You can make these bows using any other cloth or using velvet. These serve as cute embellishments on dresses too.
