Handmade Pongal Card

A colorful pongal/sankranthi greeting card putting together felting and quilling. The typical Pongal pot design for the central theme.

Felt and crepe paper are used for the base layer of the card.

Quilled swirls at the sides of the card for a kolam (muggulu) effect.  Zari to add a little traditional touch.

Mango leaves thoran which is usually hung during any auspicious occasion.

A pongal pot for the center with a few designs.
