Fold an Origami Santa Cap

Steps to fold a Santa Cap using the technique of origami.

How-To:

Step 1:

Start with a one sided square sheet of paper. Make vertical and horizontal creases at the center diagonals as shown.

Step 2:

Lift the lower part of the paper and fold it in half to meet the center crease.

Step 3:

Again lift the bottom and fold it in half to meet the center crease.

Step 4:

Fold this along/at the center crease.

Step 5:

Make a small fold at the top.

Step 6:

Now lift the left side of the triangular model and fold it towards the right as shown.

Step 7:

Fold the bottom part upwards such that the fold lines up with the base of the triangle.

Step 8:

Repeat Step 6 for the right side  of the triangle

Step 9:

To make the base of the cap in line, tuck the lower part of the fold in the pocket made by the previous folds.

Step 10:

Flip the model to get your Santa cap.
