I tried out this felt gift tag for Christmas. It turned out to be pretty decent for the first time. And here’s how we make it…
Glimpse of the Result:
Cut out a piece of felt of the desired size and hand sew the edges of the cloth.
I’ve cut out a curvy pattern for the top.
Punch a hole at the top to attach a ribbon.
You can add embellishments – buttons, fabric glitter glue, rhinestones and felt have been used here.
Instead of hand sewing the embellishments I’d chosen to use fabric glue to attach them.
Once the embellishments have been set, flip the tag and make a socket like provision for inserting the card.
Insert a card.
You now have to tie this tag to the gifts for your loved ones.
The tag turned out to be a perfect fit for Valentines Day and Christmas. Planning to experiment with a much better looking vintage felt tag soon
