Kuthu Vilakku Kolams

Kuthu vilakku (lamp) kolams are considered auspicious to adorn puja rooms and different designs in varied complexities can be drawn.

Here are a few basic kuthu vilakku kolam designs to begin with. 

Design 1:

These designs perfectly supplement Aishwarya kolams drawn in the puja room.

Design 2:

These kolams are perfect to add to diwali rangolis. A kuthu vilakku kolam on both sides of the rangoli would make the overall appearance perfect.

Design 3:

Very soon we shall see advanced designs such as sara vilakku kolams and thaer (chariot) kolams.
