Buntings for Halloween
These buntings slash banners with a spooky theme will serve great for decorating the indoors or outdoors of your homes for Halloween.
Glimpse of the Result:
Using the similar technique you can make banners/buntings in different colors and designs for various festive occasions.
For this you will need:
- Velvet or Felt cloth
- Thread
- Scissors
- Glue

How To:
Step 1:
Cut the orange felt cloth in the shape of triangle. Make as many triangles as needed depending on the length of your bunting. I made 12 units for mine.

Step 2:
From the black cloth, cut out shapes like a bat, pumpkin or a spider to suit your Halloween theme. I’ve chosen my favorite bat for this bunting.

Step 3:
Stitch or paste the bat in the triangle using fabric glue.

Step 4:
Cut out strips of the black felt cloth with a width of about an inch. The length could be a little more than the length of the sides of the triangular units.

Step 5:
Fold each strip in half along its length and stitch it. Do this for all the strips.

Step 6:
Stitch this to the sides of the triangle.

Step 7:
Repeat steps 1 to 6 for all the triangles.
Step 8:
Make a broader strip of black felt cloth, fold and attach it at the top making a string of triangles. We will use this to hang the bunting.
