Glitter Mehndi Designs

Mehndi is the magic available within a cone to add to your beauty during special occasions.  Glitters are used to add more sparkle to your mehndi.

First apply the usual mehndi paste in the chosen design and allow it to dry. After 5 to 6 hours, scrap of the dried mehndi paste. Beautiful reddish orange colors designs would be seen.

You can now apply  the sparkles which are available in different colors within the mehndi design. When you plan to go for sparkles, choose Arabic designs since these are spaced well than Indian designs which tend to be too intricate for sparkles.

The colors of the sparkles can be chosen to suit your skin tone and your outfit. If you’re getting the designs done at a parlor or by a professional, they would probably be using sparkles of good quality. If you do it yourself, ask for a good brand of sparkle so that it isn’t harsh on your skin. Also, old sparkles tend to make a small blotch, so get a new one for the occasion. It anyways is going to cost you only a few bucks.

Too make your designs more ornamental, you can also paste small zardosi stones on the designs. These will be great on photos and is sure to make some heads turn. The stones are available in different colors and sizes. White stones are the preferred choice of many due to the rich look they add.

If you do not have the time for the base mehndi design, you can directly go in for sparkles. This will be suitable for smaller designs and have a more trendy look.
